WHY MELINDA SPEAKS…
I am a mother of four wonderfully made children. They have been my reason for existence during the best and worst of times. I am an old pro at making it through tough times, no matter what. My faith is the foundation of my courage and strength. I love to encourage others and offer words of wisdom. My hope is that my writing adds even just the slightest bit of value to the world.
Although I graduated from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA, life has been my greatest educator… in failure and success, in joy and pain, in love and hate, and so much more. I am currently working on two books: When Money Won’t Matter and Conversations With Myself. I minister at my church monthly and teach Sunday school weekly. The more I teach, the more I learn. My own greatest lesson in life has been to never give up.
I speak literarily and vocally because knowledge is meant to be shared, or it profits no one. I speak because teaching and sharing is my calling in life. I speak because I must.
